It&#8217;s a  topic that I find fascinating. This week, I stumbled across a great  infographic created by <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.kissmetrics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/color-purchases-lrg.png\">KissMetrics<\/a> last year that puts color marketing theory into perspective based on  real world statistics. Everyone loves infographics, so I thought I&#8217;d share it with the Corporate Eye audience.<\/p>\n<p>You can click on the image below to view the full-size infographic. Some highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>85% of surveyed consumers state that color is the primary influencer of purchase decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Color increases brand recognition by 80%.<\/li>\n<li>Impulse shoppers are most influenced by black, royal blue, and red orange.<\/li>\n<li>Budget shoppers are most influenced by navy blue and teal.<\/li>\n<li>Traditional shoppers are most influenced by pink, sky blue and rose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.kissmetrics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/color-purchases-lrg.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/blog.kissmetrics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/color-purchases-lrg.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"2717\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 575px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 575\/2717;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also found the following points to be particularly interesting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>64% of online shoppers have decided not to make a purchase because a website loaded too slowly.<\/li>\n<li>Amazon.com reports that for every 100MS additional load time of a web page, there is a 1% decrease in sales.<\/li>\n<li>42% of online shoppers base their opinion of websites on design alone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These statistics support the concept that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.corporate-eye.com\/main\/website-branding-and-usability\/\">website usability and design<\/a> must work together cohesively in order to build your brand, business, and revenues.\u00a0 Color and design have significant impacts on consumers&#8217; shopping and purchase decisions.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t overlook their importance!<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned to the Corporate Eye blog &#8212; I found another cool color marketing related infographic that I&#8217;ll be talking about later this week!\u00a0 In the meantime, what do you think about the statistics in the above infographic?
