--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/143;\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>As we reach the end of my first year in the \u201cCareers Corner\u201d at Corporate Eye, it&#8217;s a great opportunity to look back over all the topics that have been covered in the column.\u00a0 We\u2019ve analyzed best practices, explored fundamental issues and emerging trends, cataloged some hits and misses, asked serious questions\u2014and had a little fun.\u00a0 Not a bad way to spend twelve months!<\/p>\n<p>Year-end lists always seem to be the \u201cTen Best.&#8221;\u00a0 (Or \u201cTen Worst,\u201d but I\u2019m not going there.)\u00a0 So that was my goal.\u00a0 But it turns out to be quite a challenge.\u00a0 Just <em>ten<\/em>?\u00a0 So I\u2019ve cheated a bit, and chosen all the series from 2009.\u00a0 Which actually makes sense, since the topics that merited multiple posts were among the most important.<\/p>\n<p>So here they are, in no particular order:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: href=\"..\/..\/..\/..\/..\/2009\/05\/diversity-on-the-corporate-website-disability-and-unvisibility\/\">Disability and Unvisibility<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3.\u00a0 Some Really Good Advice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"..\/..\/..\/..\/..\/2009\/06\/careers-corporate-website-1\/\">Part 1<\/a> and <a
