internationally.\u00a0 In the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comscore.com\/press\/release.asp?press=2565\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comScore Consumer World Metrix Report<\/a>, I learned that nearly 25% of Japanese Internet users\u00a0accessed Apple iTunes during the month of August 2008.\u00a0 That&#8217;s one out of every 4 people who use the Internet in Japan\u00a0or 13.5 million Apple iTunes users.\u00a0 Now, that&#8217;s a significant statistic.<\/p>\n<p>Globally, the reach of Apple iTunes is at 11.2%, so clearly, there is something to be said for how Apple markets its products internationally.\u00a0 Other countries reported similar Apple iTunes reach statistics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Check out\u00a0the Apple iTunes stats from comScore below:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Worldwide = 11.2% reach (107.2 million unique users)<\/li>\n<li>Japan = 23.7% reach (13.6 million unique users)<\/li>\n<li>United Kingdom = 23.4% (8.3 million unique users)<\/li>\n<li>United States = 19.6% (31.7 million unique users)<\/li>\n<li>France = 12.4% (4.0 million unique users)<\/li>\n<li>Germany = 10.7% (3.8 million unique users)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So there are three things to learn from these statistics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>First, Apple is a force to be reckoned with as well as one to watch and learn from.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Second, hooking your brand up with Apple iTunes sounds like a strategy worth investigating.\u00a0 Apple actively looks for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/itunes\/partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iTunes content providers and partners<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 It just might be something to look into.<\/p>\n<p>Third, if you or the leadership at your company doesn&#8217;t know what iTunes is, it&#8217;s time for a crash course and a reprioritization of media and
